The Luberon Majestic mountain, millennial world of human life and history which has remained practically and fortunately intact. The massif stretches gently over 60 km from East to West. The Combe de Lourmarin, the only natural passage that crosses the massif, divides it into two parts. To the West, the Petit Luberon dug with ravines and gorges does not exceed 700 meters. As for the Grand Luberon, it extends to the east and unrolls its massive and gentler slopes which culminate in Mourre-Nègre at 1125 meters and includes a wide flat area: the Claparèdes plateau.
